  • Past research experience; research in bioinformatics is a plus 
  • Self starter and highly organized
  • Current Student, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Someone who can work in a dynamic environment (interacting with remote, international and on-site team).

What this role would entail:

The goal of the research fellowship is to provide life science students with an opportunity to participate in exciting research projects and gain experience while learning about bioinformatics. These projects come from a variety of research areas, including oncology, immunology, neuroscience, agrotech, biotech, ecology and others. Each project consists of various datasets, primarily focusing on high throughput -omics technologies. 

We are looking for motivated students or postdocs that can assist with bioinformatics project development as they learn from participating in our online programs. You would be helping diverse teams of students, researchers, and faculty with their analysis and their analysis result communication, contributing detailed project descriptions and tutorials to our training programs. The fellowship requires some time commitment (less than 15 hours per week) but follows a flexible schedule. We meet twice a week for online training, and then one more time a week for a longer time to discuss project and analysis methods.
