Among the most important challenges in biological research today is that of big data. The increase in sequence data, while empowering researchers to ask questions that could never have been addressed before, has increased the amount of computational resources needed for storage, computation, analysis, and sharing. Bioinformatics continues to face the challenges of integrating molecular biological information and extracting useful findings to accelerate the discovery of useful new therapies. Pine Biotech presents solutions to theses challenges and more with the development of our platform and additional visualization tools to allow more flexible analysis and interpretation. The use of bioinformatics analysis to turn massive amounts of information into smart data has the potential to enhance disease diagnostics, prevention, and therapeutics.
